Worship
SUNDAYS
We meet every Sunday for worship at 10:00am.
All are welcome and we encourage all ages to join in as we use music, readings from the bible, prayers and other creative ways to get to know God better through worship. There is also an opportunity for coffee and fellowship afterwards.
For Children and Young People:
Children are especially welcome at all our services and most weeks are invited to join groups their own age part way through the service to have fun learning about the bible and what it means to follow Jesus.
WEEKDAYS
Weekly Communion:
A weekly said Communion service takes place every Tuesday at 10:30am in the Lady Chapel.
Morning Prayer:
Morning Prayer takes place every day except Sunday and Monday at 8:30am in the Lady Chapel.
The First Thursday in Every Month
Taize: 7pm
Taize is a form of worship used at the Taize Community in Burgundy which consists of usually simple chants which are repeated meditatively. We have an annual ‘big’ service most years and a short service at 7:00pm on the first Thursday of every month. It takes place in the Lady Chapel and lasts about 35 minutes. It is quite different from any other form of Christian worship and well worth trying.
Messy Church
Messy Church Welcome to Messy Church – a new, informal kind of church where people of all and any age can come together. There are lots of hands-on activities on offer including various crafts. There is food provided for everyone, and there is no charge. Join us at St Chads on Sat 18th October 3-5pm and Southlands Saturday October 19th and see what the mess is about.
